PAAD

The Project Alignment & Delivery (PAAD) initiative is a program facilitated by GO Productivity where project owners, contractors, and key suppliers work together to pilot and demonstrate best practices in controlled but real project settings on industrial construction sites in Alberta.

Once pilot/demonstration projects are complete, the results and lessons learned are documented and shared with industry to inspire and motivate others to adopt the best practices. It's a pro-active "lead by example" approach to driving continuous and sustained improvement in project delivery practices across the industry.

Currently, 4 cross-sector working groups have been executing demonstration projects around the following areas:

  1. Better scope definition / front-end loading.
  2. Improved Risk Management Practices.
  3. New collaboration models & methods (between owners, contractors, suppliers).
  4. Improving and Standardizing Worker Skills & Competencies.

Summary information about each project can be found at the bottom of this page.

PAAD is facilitated by GO Productivity and implemented & funded by a group of dedicated Industry Partners.
